Shopee requires main product images at least 500×500 px, with a 1:1 (square) aspect ratio, a typical 2 MB file cap, and JPEG or PNG. For a usable listing, use 800×800 or 1024×1024, fill about 70–75% of the frame, and treat cover white as RGB 255,255,255 rather than cream paper.

Public seller-education pages and Seller Centre upload gates typically expect: 1:1 square; at least 500×500 and preferably 800×800 or 1024×1024; JPG or PNG; usually ≤ 2MB per image; up to 9 images per listing. ShopeeMall and many cover-image slots want a solid / pure-white background with the product filling most of the frame and no watermark, montage, or promo text on the cover.

Why the same photo still gets rejected
Common misses: iPhone HEIC; 4:3 phone shots; cream or grey “almost white” studio sweep; shadow under the product; file still over 2MB after export; cover image with text, borders, or another platform’s watermark. Automotive/motorcycle categories are often exempt from the white-background cover rule — check your category, not a generic blog.

Amazon, Lazada, and TikTok Shop are close, not identical
Amazon wants a taller pixel floor (1000 / 1600) and ~85% fill. Lazada MY also wants square mains, a file-size cap, and JPG/PNG. TikTok Shop product tiles crop to 1:1, so a slightly rectangular export gets chopped. Do not assume a Shopee-passed JPG will pass Amazon or TikTok Shop without a second check.

Check locally before you re-upload

Before you upload again
- Export true 1:1 — do not rely on Seller Centre to pad the frame.

- Cover image: clean white/solid background unless your category is exempt.
