What size does Amazon require for a main image?

Amazon turns on the zoom viewer at 1000 px on the longest side and recommends 1600 px or more. Smaller files usually still upload, but Fernpix gates at 1000 px so you do not ship a listing without zoom. JPEG or PNG, file under 10 MB.

Does Amazon require a pure white background?

Yes on the main image: RGB 255,255,255 (#FFFFFF). 250,250,250 studio grey, cream paper, a cutout halo, or a floor shadow still fail. Secondary images can use lifestyle scenes.

What is the 85% fill rule?

The product should fill about 85% of the frame and not touch the edges. A tiny product on a huge white canvas is a common reject even when the background is truly white.

Does a pass here mean Amazon will approve the listing?

No. Fernpix checks published main-image numbers. Category exceptions, brand approval, and intellectual-property flags are still decided in Seller Central.
